Verses 18, 19. -
Recovered. Hebrew, "rescued," or "delivered." The word occurs again in the second clause of the verse, and is there translated "rescued."
Had carried away. Hebrew, "had taken." In ver. 19
recovered is literally "caused to return,"
i.e. restored.
