Even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, "Give the priest some meat to roast, because he will not accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."

Exodus 12:9
Do not eat any of the meat raw or cooked in boiling water, but only roasted over the fire--its head and legs and inner parts.

Leviticus 3:3
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,
