To the tribe of Levi, however, Moses had given no inheritance. The offerings made by fire to the LORD, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, just as He had promised them.

Deuteronomy 18:1
The Levitical priests--indeed the whole tribe of Levi--shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They are to eat the offerings made by fire to the LORD; that is their inheritance.

Deuteronomy 18:2
Although they have no inheritance among their brothers, the LORD is their inheritance, as He promised them.

Only to the tribes of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said to them.
